Pennsylvania Covered Bridges - Washington County Index
Washington County is home to 23 covered bridges which is one of the most of any county within the Commonwealth.  Washington County has embraced covered bridges complete with a Covered Bridge Festival that features eight bridges in Washington and neighboring Greene Counties.  Washington County also has actively perserved damaged bridges returning them to use or moving them to a new home.

Mingo Creek County Park - Home of the Covered Bridge Festival and two of the county's bridges.
Ebenezer Church Bridge - Although this bridge was moved to Mingo Creek County Park in 1977, this bridge sits as if it was always there.
Henry Bridge - The second bridge within Mingo Creek Park is one of the author's personal favorites.
Elsewhere
Sawhill Bridge - This 90 year old bridge was damaged in 2004 by the remnants of Hurricane Ivan.  In 2005, a nearly $500,000 restoration project will return it to use.
Wright or Cerl Bridge - This bridge sits less than 100' from the high speed Interstate 70!
