New England Sign Goofs

A Very Brief Introduction...

Because there are so many road signs, every once in a while, there will be an error in signing, or a goof if you will. This page is designed in order to showcase these goofs, so there are less for myself and others to photograph in the future. Feel free to submit photos for this page if you feel up to doing so.

New England Sign Goofs

	Circle MA 23 shield on MA 23 eastbound near Great Barrington, MA. Just to think there is a correct MA 183 shield just down the road from it. Taken October 31, 2004 by Douglas Kerr.
	Entering Rupert, Vermont and VT 153 northbound at the state line with New York from Washington County Route 153, you see this all in one package. The North and 153 are in the same shield in this mockery of the Vermont state route shield. Taken December 19, 2004 by Douglas Kerr.

	The sign goof that got national attention, Alabama style state highway shields on MA 10 southbound in Easthampton, MA. The shields have since been replaced with standard Massachusetts route shields as of August 2005. Taken July 2005 by Justin Petrosek.

	Here is a trailblazer shield for US 6 mistakenly signed as CT 6. This was taken on the corner of Lake St. and Cider Mill Rd.(aka CT 533) in Bolton CT. Taken October 2005 by Harry Hall.
